Almost like you're floating, like a heavy weight has been put off your shoulders. I have been managing my anxiety, though I still have the occasional panic attack. But about 2½ years ago I had a cold that somehow reduced my tinnitus 90% for a little while, and the best way I can describe hearing that "silence" is that it feels really light. It feels like an alien concept that I can't even imagine. However, the reactivity is still there. It's Mar 19, 2019 ยท For one beautiful day today I had silence. I have not felt this good about my tinnitus in 40 years. Even quieter ringing would be a miracle. Yes, after weeks and months of 24/7 noises in my ears and head, my tinnitus finally decided to STFU for a day. For now, I'm glad to know there are support groups like this.
